Dr. Keenan consulted with us to help us determine 1) were we ready for a Development Director position, 2) what credentials/characteristics should we look for in such a person, and 3) what salary range could we expect to pay. We found Dr. Keenan to be extremely knowledgeable about development and fundraising. She was enthusiastic about our plans for growth in this area, assisted with the wording of the posting for the job position, gave suggestions for where to post, and followed up on our progress. She was extremely professional and has many contacts in the development field, which was a great asset to us. As a result of this consultation, we were able to hire a Development Director, who has proven to be an excellent fit for our agency. Without Dr. Keenan's advice, I don't think we would have the person we have today. The consultation was invaluable.
